vRO Execute a custom query on database

Run the workflow provided in the vRO “Execute a custom query on a database”

Select the database and input the query you want to execute on the database.

INSERT INTO LinuxVMs (VMName,RequestNumber,OSType,OwnerName) VALUES('linux001','12345','RHEL','admin');

Above query inserts values in table named LinuxVMs.

First define the column names (VMName,RequestNumber,OSType,OwnerName) and then define values (‘linux001′,’12345′,’RHEL’,’admin’);

These simple workflows come in handy for interacting with Database systems.
